Understanding Others
Objective: Students will look into the cultural differences that exist in order to understand and appreciate diversity. Students will discuss how understanding each other can be beneficial to themselves, other people, and the community. In addition, students will have an opportunity to share their experiences from and reflect on The Truth About Hate, previously known as "Diversity Day". Students will have an opportunity to continue the conversation and discuss ways to spread kindness year round.
